White cat always look beauty and adorable

A white cat with a soft and fluffy coat and unique colored eyes is a dream cat breed for many cat lovers. But this cat doesn't just have a beautiful appearance. In fact, white cats have a unique history and are considered lucky cats around the world.

1. The main gene that causes white fir is the dominant masking gene    The masking gene is a gene that prevents the base color from showing itself. In other words, white cats basically have coat colors other than white. However, the dominance of the masking gene actually causes melanin to be prevented from developing so that what appears is white fur.                                                                                                                 2. White cats has tend to have  fairly striking eye colors                           More about melanin, precisely in the iris of a cat's eye, this color pigment plays a role in determining eye color in cats. The higher the melanin production, the eye color will be darker, and vice versa.
3. Population of pure white cat is only around 5 percen worldwide          As it turns out, the population of pure white cats, aka cats whose all fur is perfectly white, is only around 5 percent in the world. Furthermore, white cats generally have blue eyes (one or both), and a few have golden, green, and copper eyes.

4. Blue-eyed white cats tend to suffer from congenital hearing loss
Blue-eyed white cats generally suffer from congenital hearing loss (deafness) due to degeneration of the inner ear. Apparently, the deafness is influenced by the blue color in the white cat's eyes. In other words, almost all white cats have hearing loss because white cats generally do have blue eyes in both or one of them.

5. Even though they both have white hair, white cats come from various races
Although both have evenly white fur, it turns out that white cats also consist of various races. For example, Oriental Shorthair, Persian, British Shorthair, Scottish Fold, Ragdoll, Norwegian Forest, to Devon Rex.
6. The most popular white cat comes from the Persian cat breed
Presumably the white cat that has the most fans is from the Persian cat breed. The reason is, the long soft fur and expressive big eyes of the white cat do look so elegant when treated with care.
7. Although at first glance they look similar, white cats are not the same as albino cats
At first glance, a white cat  looks similar to an albino cat. In fact, they are different. Albino cats do have albinism, while white cats are cats with a dominant masking gene so that white fur is shown.
8. Unlike a graceful outward appearance, white cats are said to be passive, moody, and sensitive
If judged from the outward appearance, the white cat has an attraction in the form of a graceful and elegant charm. However, it turns out that his character is just the opposite. White cats tend to be labeled as passive, moody, and sensitive.
